Oh what a beautiful day. 63 degrees, light breeze, sunshine and a new JD Berry bow. Does it get any better? Didn't want to stop shooting to post but had to share. Bavarian rosewood handle, bamboo cores and a light yew on the belly and a darker knotty yew on the back and tip overlays made from warthog tusk. Beautiful bow! Will work on posting pictures tonight.

Thanks for the compliments men. Not surprising-its a shooter.
Looks like I'm still missing a step on uploading pics  I'll figure it out one of these days.
Hats off to Mr. Berry.

Just copy and paste the IMG link and it will work
I love my berry bows and yours is absolutly stunning. I have the 27 year old version of your argos and it is a wonderfull combination of classic longbow with the increased performance of a slight r/d. Just plain amazing bows that loose none of the qualities of the american semi longbow and yet benefit from the duo-flex design with less feedback and more performance
-
Very nice...congratulations!
-
Good lookin bow bud. Shoot the heck out of it this weekend. Enjoy.
-
Very nice! enjoy shooting! Just had Oregon arrows made up for my Taipan and Brians north star, they fly beautifully. I love that grip on your Argos, that is the one i have on my Taipan. I must say the grip difference between the two is amazing and yet both are naturally comfortable. Much luck to you and your new bow!

You guys are just catching on I got my Argos in 2008.
-
For those Berry shooters out there, how does the "Argos" compare to James' other bows?
-
NBK - The Argos shoots on par with the Taipan in the cast/speed department.....just a bit above the Morningstar/Northstar. It's an extremely sweet shooter and very hard to put down.
James built mine with an ever so slightly dished grip and his "Berry Nocks".

As Rob said, its just an all around fabulous bow. Easy to draw, quiet, great cast, very very balanced and pointable. Everything yiu could want in a duo-flex that's for sure
-
Man Nov/Dec sure seems like a long way off ! But that's when my name is to come up and seeing all of James work don't make the wait any easier, it does get me excited for what James might have in mind for mine. Thanks for sharing the pictures. Those are some nice looking bows !

What's that animal imprinted on the leather in that pic? It looks like a spot plug or a rattletrap with legs?
