I was wondering what the heaviest limbs are out there that's been made for a Tall Tines recurve? I have a set of 65# and 64# limbs but want to get a set of 70-75 pound limbs and didn't know if there were any out there. If you have a set in that weight range do you like them or dislike them. My 65# limbs are on a long riser and makes a 62" bow and they feel great, I'm just looking to shoot the heaviest limbs I can comfortable. Thanks
Logan
Logan,
I think the best answer would reside right here:
talltinesarchery@yahoo.com
With the man himself.
Check with Mike Mitten he has a couple up there pretty heavy plus this one he uses for training:

My heaviest is 59# @ 28" and is still sitting at the post office. Hopefully I can pick it up tomorrow.
127#'s... Holy crap! I think i felt a tear in my sack just reading that. That is a strong man.
I can't pull half that!
:biglaugh:
wow, those limbs must be 4" thick!
Mike's an animal!
I've seen those limbs of Mikes before and heard the story behind them. If I remember right Brian was messing with Mike on the marked weight on those limbs, but I guess you won't know unless you try to pull them back!! LOL
Those limbs should be good for warm up prior to a hunt.
Mikes limbs must be static....cause if I grab the string on them they ain't moving!!!
