Info updated.
Excellent!
Worth every penny
Best money spent on archery.
Shot there many times. Need a few weeks to scrounge up the full amount. Can I sign up with a down payment or do I need to wait for the tull amount?
To be fair to Rod and make sure we have a full class he asks people to pay to reserve a spot. That way we don't have to turn someone else away to hold spot for a maybe. I hope you understand.
Interest seems to be high and we hope you can make it dbd870!
Several sign ups today so hurry everyone who is interested. Thank you! :archer:
Two friends and I reserved our spots yesterday..can't wait.
I will be there, got my spot reserved.
Great Mooshkat! Glad your coming. Only a few spots left. Bring that Snakebite so we can drool over it!!! :biglaugh:
It will be coming with me, for sure, it's a nice bow!
My wife and I signed up yesterday. I think there were two spots left.
I updated some info in original post.
As of today, 5-5-2014, only 3 maybe 4 spots left max. It has filled up fast. Hurry to get one of the last spots!! Call 317-881-7446 and ask for Pat or Tim in the archery range to sign up!
Going to be a great 2 day, hands-on, in depth shooting clinic and you will leave a better archer for sure! We are excited and can't wait to see Rod.

Thanks to The Outdoorsman for Hosting the clinic. Great outdoor shop full of all the archery, hunting, target shooting, fishing, firearms and sporting goods you could want. Large, spacious indoor archery range so no worries about the weather during Rod's clinic. Really nice archery shop with knowledgeable staff and traditional archery gear.
FYI, The Outdoorsman is on the South side of Indy.
About 15 minutes from downtown, 15 minutes from I-65, 10 minutes from I-465, 2 hrs 45 min. from 3 Rivers Archery, easy to get to from about anywhere and all are welcome regardless or shooting style or skill level. Hotels, food and anything you need is very close by.
As of today a gentlemen coming all the way from North of Green Bay, WI is in the lead for the prize for farthest distance!!
Looks like we are down to 2 spots. Grab your wife or buddy and join us!

I'm going. I signed up earlier this week. I've only heard of positive comments from ones who has attended rod's clinics. I'm not the quickest learner but everyone I've talked to says he just has a way of instructing and explaining that everyone can understand. I can't wait.
I just signed up. If anyone is wanting to go and can carpool from N AL or S Middle TN pm me.
I have been asked about hotels and things in the area so here is some info
All you need to do is GOOGLE "Hotels Greenwood Indiana" or "Hotels Downtown Indianapolis" depending on where you want to stay. I can recommend some specific restaurant or things to do and see in person at the clinic.
I recommend staying Downtown Indy for nightlife and attractions, or near intersection US 31 South and I-465 or intersection I-65 and Main St. in Greenwood depending on budget and where you are coming from. (all within 10-20 minutes or so from The Outdoorsman)
Downtown Indy has many hotels. Get hotel in heart of the city on Meridian St., Illinois St., Capitol Ave or Washington St. You will find Hilton Garden Inn, Westin, Hampton Inn, Courtyard Marriot, Hyatt, ect. Everything is a short walk from downtown with tons of restaurants, bars, breweries, sport, monuments, etc. If you have specific questions just ask me. Downtown will be more fun but more $$$!
Option 2 is closer to The Outdoorsman. Intersection of US 31 South and I-465 on Indy's south side. MAKE SURE TO CONFIRM THIS IS THE HOTEL AT THIS INTERSECTION since more than one in town
Super 8, Holiday Inn Express, Comfort Inn South.
Lots of local and chain restaurants and a few bars on US 31 South and S. R. 135 South. Go North 10 minutes and you are downtown. Go South 10 minutes and you are at The Outdoorsman. Less money option.
Option 3 is also closer to The Outdoorsman and good if coming up I-65 from the South. Intersection of I-65 and Main St. in Greenwood. MAKE SURE TO CONFIRM THIS IS THE HOTEL AT THIS INTERSECTION since more than one in town.
Red Roof Inn, La Quinta Inn Greenwood, Red Carpet Inn Fanta Suites
These are 20-25 minutes from downtown and 15 minutes from The Outdoorsman. Chain and local restaurants and some shopping nearby. These are your cheapest but least nice options!
Note: I am local so have only stayed in hotels downtown occasionally. I can not personally give a thumbs up or down to any of these other hotels.
Do what is best for you! You get what you pay for. Please call or email with questions. Guys at The Outdoorsman may know of some other options.
That did not take to long!
Full Clinic now but can get your name on the alternate back up wait list or sign up for info on future clinics. Questions, just ask.
Very interesting that 10 of 12 are coming from out of state. The Outdoorsman and local Hoosiers will make you feel welcome.
Updated original thread title and some info.
Guys and Gal that are attending we are wondering what you are most looking forward to or want to learn about?
Have you attended one of Rod's clinics before? If not what made you want to attend?
See everyone in about 5 weeks! :archer2:
I am hoping to get my form straightened out, I am just not consistent enough, don't think I have this back tension thing down, among other things.
Work on form, back tension and gapping.
Ttt on last time.
Clinic this weekend and we are all set. Hotel and other info in
original post and above. See you on Saturday.
We start at 9am sharp! I'm ready.
Thank you!
