Remember the day when you saw a rabbit; and remembered an old arrow in the barn; and took an old flat bow and used baling twine for a string; and then stalked up on the rabbit and killed it cleanly with your only arrow- first shot?
Agh the old days..
um.. wait- I did that today!!!

that old ace broadhead still worked with an ancient arrow 60 years old with only one feather left on it. A draw length of 14 inches; shot was two feet away. I only have a few weeks of being 55 left; thought I better get back to basics :)

2 feet away? Brian you could have just knocked him in the head with the unstrung bow. Great stalking job!

Remember when ya was Kid....And we knew nothing about Arrow spine or anything, If it was a Bow and we had a stick that was fairly straight we would use it....
Tied on chicken featers, who knew what wing it didn't matter....
Bottom line we had fun, stalking big game on the African savana ( ground squirrles and Jacks)
A boy and his bow and his Imagination....
Those were the days.....

used to shoot a old fiberglass bow from the wrong side of the shelf for years!, took many rabbits with it that way, have to hit em in the eye or right in the back of the neck,,only place that'll let you kill em, points made of hammered nails, tattered feathers!
Yep them were the good ol days!!!
Come along way since :)
