Going on my first hog hunt, should have bow in hand Friday afternoon doing a little still hunting/spot n stalk. Going with 6 other trad guys so it should be a good time reguardless of the outcome.
Haven't had the opportunity to hunt hogs yet so I'm a bit nervous and excited. I've studied the shot placement tread so I just need to make my arrow fly true.
57lb bow shooting a 600gr arrow should be sufficient enough aye? A bit torn on the broadhead choice 2 blade grizz or woodsman elite
both 175 gr.

You'll have a great time, Cory. Hogs are worderful bowhunting game. I've become quite a Grizzly Kodiak fan, but you will do fine with either choice. They seem to be pretty spooky at feeders or baits, so run a light trail of corn to pull them away a bit and WATCH YOUR WIND! They have an excellent nose. One wiff of you and they are gone.
Enjoy!
My favorite thing to shoot and eat with my longbow!!! Good luck!
Always a blast. when I had that funny lookin green stuff they call money, I use to roll down with a group of N.T.A. folks....man that was some fun times! Welcome to your newest addiction.
Cory,
You'll have a great time and you'll enjoy hunting the hogs. Good eatin', too.
Post some pics when you get back.

Good luck Cory!
Hope you connect....I'm positive you will be hooked on hog hunting after this...they are made for bow hunting!...as said the wind is everything!!
Either head should be a killer with that setup...last hog hunt I went on hogs went done with the 2 blade single bevel gizzlys...if I were to chose it would be the elite's.
Shoot straight!
well Cory tell them the story. I think you've waited long enough. Jeremy
Cory, I would like to here how the hunt went also.
Good luck to you! Either broad head should be sufficient and you should have no shortage pig-action in this part of the state.
