He'd be easy to spot coming through the woods what with his high beams being stuck on and all!

Yup, I agree. Ya could probably show your Conservation department these pics. and they may let ya shoot him now. He is terribly skinny for a buck at least 3.5 and probably older. Shawn

I can't tell exactly what the problem is with that leg.  Is the lower third missing?  Or is there a hoof on the end of a very short leg?

Are those evil red eyes to the right?

Perhaps he was wounded last season???  I think injuries can affect antler growth on the opposite side (been too long since my wildlife mgmt class).

I have no clue what the red eyes are. reflection from his I'm guessing. I think I'll carry a cross pendant on my hunts in that stand.

The red lights look like tail lights. Maybe they're from the truck that hit that buck?

I agree with Bam here... Looks like he was hit by a vehicle. Maybe when he was younger.

I'd check on Ohio baiting laws before showing the pic to DNR.

Here in IL. it is illegal to put anything edible out, even for camera use only. The thought is that feed and salt licks, etc. contribute to CWD. Also, you may not go out shining for deer, even if you have no weapon. That is considered harrassment now.

LOL

BTW baiting is leagal here.
