Hey all,
I'm looking for a fair chase hog hunt for me, a friend of mine, and his 13 year old son. We are all traditional archers.
We would all like to obviously harvest hogs, but our main goal is for his son to harvest. If his son gets an opportunity, we would consider the hunt a great success.
We reside in Ohio but are willing to travel a bit.
Any suggestions for a good hog hunting outfitter?
True South Adventures (Jim Dussias) his tradgang name is "tarponout"
Swamphunts in Georgia. Great people and lots of wild fair chase hogs.
Give "Hunt wild things" a look. First class outfit with beautiful land and lots of hogs. South Carolina location.
Todd Martin Ranch in Mason,TX.
Great.. Thanks for the suggestions!! I will check those out.
Mule Creek Outfitters, contact Jacob, their lease is just outside Crane, TX. All kinds of hogs and javelina tearing up the oil fields out there.

X 2. Give Jim or Irv a call.
Jim's handle is "tarponnut".
Easy to remember - just think nut ! :D
Another vote here for Jim and Irv at True South Adventures. My wife and I are planning our 4th trip with them. Fair chase all the way.
I have heard only positive things about Jim and True South. That's where I hope to go next year.
I have to also say Jim and Irv at True South
Osceola outfitters in Florida. I am on my way back while I write this. I just took 6 pigs with Hoppy Kempfer and my hunting buddy shot 4, all with trad gear.
Thanks guys. You got that right Florida Lime! PM sent Irishhacker. Bill Langer's 11 year old son Ben took 3 hogs with us back in February. They are on Traditional Adventures 9, I just watched it today. Great video!
I can take a group to Texas about any time of the year and a great place.
