Anyone aware of anyone making custom wood grips for metal riser bows? Loesch used to do it but is apparently out of business. My current grip is developing several cracks and I would like it duplicated. I like a high wrist grip and what people are calling "high wrist" these days is not my idea of high wrist. Now they simply extend the heel of the grip and call it "high wrist". A high wrist grip must start just below the throat of the grip.
You might check with Bob Morrison, he was doing wood grips but he may not have the shop fully running with the recent move. Love my Loesch grips so much that I send them to bowyers to match on a custom wood riser.
Dale,
Is there anyway of stabilizing the one you have to buy you some time looking for a replacement?
BTW, I enjoyed your article in Trad Archers world a few years ago.
