Title: Hunter Recurve goes to Hawaii
Post by: IdahoCurt on April 09, 2014, 08:01:00 PM
Just thought I would post some pictures of a recurve going to Hawaii.
The bow is 58" 52# @ 28
The limbs are double carbon with beautiful yew cut here in Idaho 20yrs ago!
Veneers are Spalted Mango topped off with sheep horn tips.
The riser is a combo of Koa and mango.
Enjoy!

I love how your limbs disappear into the riser.   Some of the most gorgeous wood around doesn't hurt either.

Love how earthy and natural your wood combos are. Can the grip be narrowed a bit? Are you using wood veneers on both belly and back of your carbon limbs? and lastly, how large is your sight window?
