I have some that is at least a year old, but probably not two years. Is it still good? Thanks,
Stan
I'm using some that must be at least ten years old. Still works good.
Stan, I remember reading a thread here that talked about the shelf life. Most thought you were good to one year, and risked delams in limbs after that. I have used my old smooth on in other projects way past that, with no problem. I'm a little spooked to use it in limbs after one year.
A guy I used to work with did studies on just this for military applications back in the 70's. He claimed it was well over 10 years.
if it starts to look bad ( kinda grainy ) ................. put it in your bow oven for about 30 minutes ....... it will come right back together !!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the replies.
