I am considering a Wolfer bow and wondered if anyone out there has one and could give me some feed back on it. Pictures would be cool to.

I would like shoot one but the way the riser is set up, it looks like you need to shoot it canted due to the riser being offset.
Tim,
I believe that Mr. Robertson explains that the bow has to be shot with a cant...You will cant it without actually really knowing ..
I can shoot that way but I prefer to have the bow vertical Rick Welch style.
It is my opinion that the riser is canted like this
/ to match the natural angle of your arm (for a right handed shooter, \\ for LH). The limbs will actually be more vertical than a "standard" design with your hand in it's natural angle.

Let's say that these two lines are 2 bows. The bow on the left has an offset or canted riser and the one on the right is of conventional design.
The riser section of both bows are nearly the same angle (as close as I could draw) but you see the bow on the left has it's limbs more vertical.
I might be all wrong about this, but this is how I see the Wolfer design.
This shows how the Wolfer is offset. Notice how the string starts out and ends centered on the limbs, but moves to the side of the limbs toward the riser. The limbs are cut into an offset shape, but I don't think the riser is.

McDave, is there any way you can post more pictures of your wolfer? I would love to see the wood on that bow. I am on the list and love seeing pictures of them, thanks.
Got mine today....myrtle on handle overlays....blood wood in handle...not sure what is under the glass. Apparently Dick told me it is the twin to one he made simultaneously for Doug Borland. Shot it a little in yard...now to decide what will take on hog hunt in a week or on my bear hunt early June...was going to be my selfbow or primal styk...but now not sure. LOL
Here are a couple pics when it was in glue up stage and then one of the riser area today hanging on rack after shooting between thunderstorms. :)
