I have had the great fortune in life this year to order two beautiful and great shooting custom bows.
No...it's not from all the excess guiding money I made...LOL
I just saved my money when I was younger.
Bill Dunn built me a really nice SXT recurve and Kent Roberts built me a gorgeous Timber Ghost.
They both shoot so nice, I want to take them both everywhere I go.
I hope my chocolate Lab can make room in the backseat of my truck.
I'm not writing this to boast about my collection of bows, but just to announce to any of you trying to decide on a good bowyer.... that either of these two fine gentlemen will do you an excellent job.
To be able to produce a functional "one of a kind" work of art like these guys do, is a real talent as far as I am concerned.
I would just like to say THANK YOU in the best of ways.
I'm very grateful.
I'll try to get Jim to post some photos.
Yeah...I know I can learn...just haven't taken the time yet.
I have one of each on the way! Great to hear this...not that I was worried!
I am anxiously awaiting my timberghost, Kent has been pehononenal to deal with up to this point, and I haven't heard one bad thing from anyone about his bows. Congrats on the two fine new bows. These bowyers deserve a lot of credit.
Jake
Can't go wrong with a bow from Bill Dunn !!! Congrats
Bill
I told Bill his bow had some stiff competition from the Dakota and the RER that I already have.
He wasn't the least bit worried I'm sure.
It's going to be hard to choose which one to shoot...they are both awesome...and beautiful as well.
It's so cool to see American hand made crafts like these being in great demand.
I have both and both are exceptional shooters. The same can be said about the bowyers as well.
Bill and Kent are tops!
I really love my Zippers and Bill is a great guy always helpful and generous.

Awesome bows, Irv. I can't wait to see them in person this summer. Excellent bows, excellent bowyers! :notworthy: :clapper:
Thanks for posting the photos, Jim.
You have to show me how before I go home.
We need to get out and do more 3D shooting this year, Dennis.
I better get practicing.
Two guys came by Bills camper this weekend at our Ky Trad Fest and Bill let each of them shoot a few of his bows. I witnessed two guys that were stunned and very appreciative of what a Zipper bow is capable of. When you buy a Zipper you are on the top shelf of bows and you won't find a better dude to work with.
Bill's bows are awesome.
We have communicated a lot and I hope we meet some day.
I love my SXT. Top of the line like you say.
I want to come up to your KY Trad Fest some year...dog gone it.
I tried to get there last year on my way back to WI. but believe it or not, even though I got started early enough, the highways were totally clogged with traffic (mostly RV snowbirds like me.) LOL
The hog and turkey bus is growing and I stayed even later this year. Still here.
I heard you have a really nice festival.
