I came up on James list in January and didn't know what model I wanted to go with, so I paid off my balance and told him to push me back, and then back again in February cause I still couldn't decide.
Well I made up my mind, going with an Argos. 64" 50@26 . I'm giving James full artistic freedom with the exception of core wood, he can pick any core EXCEPT bamboo. Now the excitement really grows.
So in the mean time I picked up a used JD Berry Yaweh 64" 57@28 and eagerly awaiting it's arrival but I do have a couple pics to share!! Enjoy

Look forward to seeing the new bow. How does the Yaweh shoot?
I've been sitting in my closet lusting over the Morningstar for quite awhile. I've never shot one of Mr. Berry's bows but man are they nice to look at.
Congrats on the Argos Brian. Hope your wait isn't too long cuz you know James is going to deliver a knockout!
Looks like a 1994 model, yew mix core. the tip overlays are pronghorn, Made by the Berry Bros. ..James
Thats the bow I have been loking for a Yaweh in 60# range at 27 inches.....
Thanks for the info James
Great looking bows, at the top of my wish list. Jim
Had an Argos in almost those exact same specs still kicking my butt for selling that bow!!! Good luck!
Very nice! A Berry bow in on my list of must-have bows. Can't wait to see the pics when it arrives. The Yaweh is beauteous!
JD BERRY a finer bow cannot be had at any price mho.
Looking forward to running a few arrows through a couple of your J.D. Berry's when you are to make it back down.
We will be coming down soon bud . I plan on calling you in advance . You let me know what you want to shoot .
Congrats on the stag brother, I have meant to call but did not want to bother you during your time of fame :)
Genuine friendship endures where fame may foster self-absorbance.
The Taipan design has captured my eye for some time.
Call me.....
Looking forward to seeing your new bow, James really knows his stuff!!!
Brian -
You know that James is promoting his latest and greatest limb core material. So, do not let him talk you into using particle board for the limb core. I have the particle board in my Morningstar and I just can't let anyone have a Berry bow that outperforms my new PBM.
:D
I have been keeping quiet since I know James made his "alpha" just for me and I am hoping he doesn't remember the "magic" he built into the "Amazon Queen".
I just read and chuckle at all of those who think they have his "best" while knowing it sits here within a fingertips reach.
Great bows made by a great bowyer usually in up in the hands of deservingly good people and I am happy for each one of you.
God bless,Mudd
How fast a bow shoots is like how much snow did we get. If there is 4" in your yard and a 2' snow bank across your driveway. You got 2' of snow where is matters. My Morningstar, 53@26", consistently shoots 1918s with 200 grains up front, the same distance that my 62" 52@26" r/d bows shoots them. Oh yes, we got 5" of the pretty stuff and the 8" on my driveway don't matter. Subarus love snow and my snow blower is,unlike my Morningstar, very loud.
