Guys/gals, it is with pure joy that I am sharing this with you. I started building arrows 5 years ago and I can honestly say that my first dozen were less than desirable and ugly by anyone's standards (honestly). I set my mind that day to build the best arrows I possibly could from that dozen forward.
With the help and encouragement from MANY of you fellow Tradgang Members, thru freely sharing your arrow building tips and tricks to ideas and advice, I'm pleased to say that because of it all, I was able to win my 3rd National Arrow Contest in a row, the PBS in Oregon (2012), National Arrow Contest in Michigan (2013) and PBS in Cincinnati this past weekend (2014).
If anybody has any questions about arrow building, or just want to talk hunting, please feel free to get a hold of me (I love talking/doing both). If you look in the "How-To" section of Trad Gang, http://tradgang.com/noncgi/ultimatebb.php?ubb=forum;f=2 I have a few arrow build-a-longs that I tried to be as in depth as I could be. We have some VERY talented guys on here, and I'm trying to encourage all of you to be the best you can possibly be. I have all of your wisdom and/or encouragement to thank for motivating me to do my best. When we all work together, we can accomplish anything. So, my Thanks go out to all of you.
The best thing anybody can do is get involved in something they are passionate about. That is why I'm on Tradgang so much and also why I belong to the Professional Bowhunters Society (PBS). Please stay involved on this website, and also check out the PBS and your State Organizations as well. If we all work together, remember, we can accomplish anything.
Here is the Professional Bowhunter Society's 2014 3 Arrow Contest Winner...
