I have a BW MAIII that is #53@28. I draw to right at 28. Everything I have read says that the other person shooting a BW shoots a .400 spined arrow from their BW at even higher # than what i'm shooting. For some reason, I can not get the .400's to bare shaft tune well.
What spined arrow would you guys suggest to shoot for the #53@28 MAIII?
Any help is greatly appreciated. The only thing I have gotten to fly well is the beeman ics .340's with a 22 grain insert and a 175 grain field tip.
I shoot about 15 different bows and lots of different arrows...the one thing I have learned is to shoot what works...if 340 spine works for you then use it

I'd suggest any wood shafts be spined 60-65# and can't see why 2117's or 2216 shouldn't work.
Agree to what Dave said, there are more factors than bow weight, arrow spine that contribute to the tune such as grip on bowstring, release that adds to the equation
