Title: Virginia bowyer?
Post by: GDW on March 28, 2014, 04:53:00 AM
All,

I'm ready to get a hand-crafted bow...  My "production" Bears have been great, and I will never get rid of them, as they will always be part of the family. But now I want something special.  There are so many great folks out there who are making great stuff, but I would prefer to stay as "local" as possible.  So...  any reccomendations for the VA / NC area?  Thanks for everyones time...

Geno

Another vote for Hummingbird-personal local favorite-pricey but excellent craftsmanship.

Looked around, and decided on a 7 Lakes...

A bit of irony here, I was looking for my first Long Bow, and ended up ordering Mike's "No-Name" 60" Recurve.  All I can say is that I read the description and immediately my gut said "thats it!"

Thanks again for everyones input!
