Killed my 1st archery deer w/ a Darton recurve back in the 1970's. I remember the gentleman that builds Predator recurves was selling his bow thru Darton.

Ron Pittsley worked for Darton and made the Predator Recurve.  He and Mike Hoadley are partnered now at "Hunter's Niche".  Google them.

I've owned a number of Darton recurves. Just googled this and it may help you with a little history.

Not sure, but my #44 Darton Ranger is a great bow to just shoot all day.  A real all around bow that you don't have to worry about treating rough.
