Limb sensations from one stringer :knothead:
It's only a sin if a file, dremel or sand paper is involved! :dunno:
It wasn't the new Holm Made. It was a used Whip. Not in front of te computer now but will post pics in a bit
Why should you think that to be a sin ? Do what you want to your own bow, including use a file and sandpaper, just understand it may limit your disposal of it at a later date.
ChuckC
I hope you used those cans on a treestand and not your bow :nono:
To spray a whip is even more sinful.

Looks good to me, I like it. SS
I noticed the mourning doves in my yard were always hard to see if they kept still. They are a shade of grey and tan so that was my inspiration. The dark brown was just to give it some pop and depth. In hindsight, I'd use less dark brown but it didn't turn out too bad for my first time.
Are you holding anything in that pic? I can't see it:)
Looks good to me!
Well done. Function first.
Looks good to me!

But if it makes you happy . . .
I don't hate it. I take camo over black glass, I can't stand it for some reason.
Neato. The paint job doesn't change how nice the Whip shoots Lol
Good job!
Bisch
That's well done... If I had tried mine would have come out looking like a back ally wall after some dumb kid decided to be a first time vandal. I am impressed
Nice paint job.
Well done........
Heck, used to be back in the day that the first thing we did when we got a new bow was camo it up. Now I can't imagine the thought. That is a really neat looking job--great color choices.
You are going to lose that thing if you put it down in the woods
It looks pretty good to me.
Nice!!
Nice. I did that to an old Pearson Predator several years ago and then removed it with paint remover. Refinished it with Deft Poly and it looked like new again. You can keep it that way for as long as you want and change it back to original.
Looks good to me.
No sin committed there, looks good to me.
looks good to me....
..do I dare ask what it looked like before?
Don't lay it down in the woods, you may never find it again.
If you buy by the case you can do a whole chevy truck in an afternoon if you want to........ben dare dun dat.........
Not a big fan of the practice but man, nice job!!

If I leaned that bow against a tree and walked 50 yards away to check something out I may not find it again. Great job!
Looks good.
Grey and tan are the two best colors to use. That is what I wear hunting and had a doe walk right past me at 15 yards and never knew I was there standing among the hardwoods.

Well... it was pretty..lol
Now it's pretty COOL!
It was a good looking bow, but something about the limb veneers wasn't jiving with me.
I really want to order a new two-piece one of these days ;)
You had to show a before picture!! So to make things right with the Gods you must sacrifice a chicken(note:modern times you can go to KFC,Popeyes, and such!;-) ) spit in 4 directions, throw salt over shoulder and enjoy! Nice I like it
Larrydawg
I like IT! both ways. As long as it shoots, color is secondary.
Boy,
After seeing the before pics I agree with the naming of this thread. You did commit a sin.
Good job. Never a sin until you sell it. Then you pay for the sin. Enjoy in the mean time!
Like my wood picks for camo. To each his own.
I'm thinking about doing the same thing to a Martin x200 I just bought. The black glass is just too shiny. You did a nice job.
