I put a piece of leather on my stepson standard aluminum riser so I could shoot it without tearing up my hand.
Does Anyone have any experience shooting the JT or RC riser. I think I want to try my limbs on a JT.
Raise the nock point a little, an/ or turn the cock feather in. Because I shoot skinny arrows, and the risers are cut 3/16 past center, I also build them back out to about center cut. Very seldom have a feather touch my hand. I shoot the JK low wrist risers, so the web of my bow hand is just a little lower than with a standard riser, which, for some shooters, tends to push the web of the bow hand up into the top of the grip.
My A&H seemed to like alittle higher nock point,I have mine set right at 5/8".And I build out the side plate to about center like Orion does on his.Never had any problem with feather hitting or cutting my hand.Even building out the side plate it liked a stiffer arrow then my other bows of similar weight.Mine too is also a low grip riser and shoot both 3 and 4 fletch arrows.
I have an RC riser and mine to likes a higher nocking point.
I also had hand fletch contact at the beginning, I rotated my nock (on a carbon arrow) until I wasn't getting any contact.
cheers
Mark.
