That bow has Kerlian Birch Burl veneers, bamboo core, Bacote riser.

The other bow is Cocobolo Riser, Curly Makore veneer and boo core.

Ray, that Coco was some of my favorite that I have used, it was very unique and has a lot of colors going on. when it darkens it has a really great rusty orange with that red tint showing. That was the last of it though.

Thanks for the explanation Chuck.  I love the reddish hue to the Kingwood in my Samurai riser, but that Coco has it beat handily. Nice work.

Wow, that's down right cruel.  That's like putting a nicely seasoned 1.5 inch thick medium rare custom butchered porterhouse steak, cooked over oak coals at a Grayling archery shoot just out of reach of Ron's (accompanied with a glass of Basil Hayden) and saying 'patience Ron, I'll let you know when you can dig in'.......   ;)
