Looks like I will be totting the Thunderhorn this season on the course. Went out to shoot it some a while ago. Man she's a sweetheart. It's about 3 pounds lighter than my hunting rigs and I am able to shoot it all day. If you shoot a different bow than you normally hunt with what is it and why? And oh yeah I need to thank you again Tim!

That's one fine looking bow Tom.
If I was going to designate a bow for 3-D shooting I would use my Bear Warfed to DAS Black Bear riser with Dryad Epic Recurve limbs.
It's longer than my hunting bows and about 48 lbs. at my draw length. Super smooth and a pleasure to shoot.
bretto
I know that my scores suffer but I cycle through all of my bows!!!! I just can't help myself, and rarely shoot the same bow 2 shoots in a row :D
It seems to add to the fun and challenge for me.
Mine will have to be the Morningstar. 50# @ 28" and a smooth shooter. Not too bad on the eye either. I can shoot 10's with this one while others in the group are lusting after it and not focused. :bigsmyl:

The forward handle gets me the sight picture I need. Just seems to bring everything into focus for me. JD Berry done good on this one.
Haha, I like it Ric. She is a beauty!
I am lusting from here Ric, beautiful bow.
Either my td Silvertip longbow or my TS III most likely..think i'm gonna make it a longbow year this time around
Glad to see your still holding "her" in high regards Tom! That sure is a fine looking T-horn.
I picked up an ilf bow not long ago, a Black Magic with carbon/foam limbs. I've really enjoyed the adjustability of the bow and plan on giving it a fair shot the next few months.
Both of those bows are awesome. Tom give us a better look at the riser. Really sweet!
I don't comment on the looks of too many bows. I think their all nice looking for the most part. Once and awhile I see one that really does something for me. When I saw that Thunderhorn, I couldn't stop looking at that riser handle. The shape and checkering ( I guess it's checkering) looks awesome. I bet that feels great in the hand. The feel of a grip is everything on a three piece IMHO. Very nice bow Tom.
Of coarse, last but not least, what can I say I'm a Hill bow shooter, That Morning star looks great Rick. The true beauty of a Hill bow is how they shoot when in the hands of someone who knows how to shoot them!
I wish I had better pics of my Cheetah cause that's what I'll be shooting!
I wouldn't mind seeing a side view of that bow Tom.Fine looking bow!
That's a sweet looking bow, TJ!
I hunt and shoot 3D with the same bow, my Sarrels Blueridge longbow.

Nice looking bow TJ. I use my 66" Black Widow for 3-D fun. The reason it does not go into the woods is the bow is to pretty and I don't want it damaged. Same goes with my Griffin. My Centaur is my turkey blind bow,and I had my A&H dipped in Predator Deception camo so it has a tough skin on it to do my hunting battle with. That bow just likes killing stuff. You can just feel it when you pick it up. :bigsmyl: rat'
It would have to be my Robertson Fatal Styk Majik!!

TJ,
That's another fine looking bow brother. You got mighty good tastes for a fine looking bow. Bet it shoots just as good as it looks.
Charlie
I hunt and shoot with the same bow.
1 Bow for everything.
My HHA Big 5
50# @ 29 68"
Choices, choices :bigsmyl:
Of coarse if there're different classes, my one and only recurve "Journeyman" will be in the recurve class.
All of my longbows shoot the same arrows... My Journeyman just shoots 20 fps faster than my longbows, so it is a tad bit harder to jump back and forth with it.
I will likely start out with a longbow, that's where the wind has been taking me lately :)
I hunt and shoot with the same bow.
Tom, it looks like I have my "forever bow". :D
DAS Master Hunter riser with Dryad ACS recurve limbs. I can't wait to get out and shoot some 3D!!
I had a Thunderhorn exactly like that one.
I will be using a Marriah Thermal and Tall Tines for both 3D, and hunting.
Thanks fellas! Come on lets see what you are going with?
Here are some side views.

I shoot with the same bow that I hunt with, my Thunderstick MOAB. I did shoot an old Kodiak Special last year while I was healing from a shoulder injury though.
Man that Cheyenne looks great with that beavertail on there.
Tom, Since I recently added 2 bows to my stable I will be using them this year for both 3-D and hunting......a Rose Oak Ultra Delight and a Stalker Wolverine with static limbs.
This year my new K-2 will be doing both.

Same as my hunting setup my Martin Hunter 55#@28"
Definitely going to do some tinkering with my Hoyt Desperado

Wow Lonewolf beautiful Silverfox.
KentuckyTJ you have a couple beautiful bows.
Probably my 43# RER XR (or my 46# LX)

Nice bow(s), Tom. I also love your Morrison, always have.
I'll be shooting 3D with the same bow I hunt with, my Kanati. But, this time around I'll be using a slightly lighter weight arrow than my hunting arrows.
(http://i547.photobucket.com/albums/hh472/ishoot4thrills/2012-10-202015_zps81028843.jpg~original) (http://s547.photobucket.com/user/ishoot4thrills/media/2012-10-202015_zps81028843.jpg.html)
I'll be using my Wild Horse Creek Hawk for the Sunflower Games 3D event as well as for the field archery event. I don't do a lot of 3D but try to make it to a couple of the T.H.E. shoots in Topeka.
For their Traditional Rendezvous shoot I use one of my self bows in the Primitive class.
Tom,
Not only is your Thunderhorn beautiful, its a great shooter. Really enjoyed running a few arrows through it at Denton Hill last year.
Bill
I just built a second set of limbs for my hunting bow @ 43# -64"- long. This will be my summer setup. Still need to finish spraying them but I have shot them alot over the last few weeks and the weight is very nice on my shoulders and arms.
T
Though I generally try to practice with what I hunt with (56# Centaur, 55# LS) my "3D" bows are either a 64" 48@28 Whip or an ILF rig- a 21" Bear Black Bear WARF with a set of Sebastian Flute Elite+ long limbs making a 66" bow that draws about 46@28. SOOO smooth and quietest recurve I have ever shot. The SF Elite+ limbs are amazing for the money. Would be a great hunting rig anyway.
Tom, one of the nicest looking bows I have seen. I will be shooting a 64" Toelke Whip although at a much lower poundage than I would like due to an injury I jut can't seem to get healed properly and I have to limit my shooting somewhat as well.

A striker stinger takedown longbow and an RER XR. Both are great shooters.
Since I haven't used my RER Vital on any tournaments yet, I will give it a try coming spring/summer....it is 47 lbs at my draw

My 3d bow this year is my JD Berry Taipan . Reason being it is only 45 lbs and just a joy to shoot
http://youtu.be/d4Am7XdcjRs here is the video to show it all
This is my hunter , a JD Berry Northstar
