Title: Eye's watering
Post by: bretto on March 15, 2014, 11:06:00 AM
Seems like every time  I step outside my eyes start watering unless I'm wearing some type of sunglasses.

I work on a bridge crew and wear safety glasses day or night when working. I just don't like shooting with glasses. Defiantly don't want to wear them hunting.

Anyone else have this problem?Any suggestions from a eye Dr. here on TG. I'm guessing with over 40,000 members there has to be one or two in the mix.

Thanks in advance.

I used to have this problem when I was in High School. I mentioned it to my eye doctor at an unrelated appointment and he flushed my tear ducts. I have not had a problem since. It would be worth going to the doctor in my opinion.

Are you blue eyed? If so you are light sensitive by default. I was told that by eye doctor. I wear a hat with 2in bill. That helps me as sun glasses throw off my depth perception.

My eyes (green) are extremely sensitive, to everything including a breeze and light.  They water a lot.  I just blink a few times to clear it and get on.  Somethings just. .  are.
(I have had check ups and no systemic problems were noted)

Try a case of bell's palsy compiled with blue eyes and you'll really know watery eyes and blurred vision. I've had it since last July and it's been hell. I'm so sick of my face being numb and my mouth not working on the right side. Wishing you all better luck.

Sorry to hear about the Bells Palsy Foxbo. Very familiar with it as my mother was stricken with a case of it. Although it never completely went away it did get better.

I'm curious about the eye color responses . I have brown eyes.

I do get a lot of debris in my eyes. I'm sure I have lots of scratches on them. Guess a trip to the Eye Dr. Wouldn't hurt.

Thanks for the responses guys. Please feel free to add if you can.

My eyes are sensitive to sunlight and have to wear glasses to see distance. I wear persrciption polarized sunglasses. Doesnt bother me to shoot with in fact without Im just shooting at a blur.
