Wow..Thats a close encounter! :scared:
That is amazing. I would love to experience that. Something he will remember forever.
I have had them come up my tree a little ways but never anything like that!
I think he said it best at the end if the video. Wow
WOW!
Have seen cubs do that before but never one that size. My guess is he knew something was up there and he just wanted to inspect it a bit closer. Seems like after he got a good close up whiff he decided that he knew enough and time to go back down.
If that was me and I had a rifle in my hands, that video would of had a completely different ending. :D ;)
OMG! Now That Is :scared: !!!
I think I would have been screaming like a little girl!
That is great!!! Wow. Looks like the edge of his arm (?) that you see at the side of the frame as the bear goes bak down has a bit of a SHAKE to it. Can't imagine why!!!!!! Thanks for posting!!!
That's a pretty friendly bear there .
time to head for the truck for some clean draaw's
HOLY S---. Unbelievable. Now thats a RUSH.
I'll be right back ..I gotta change my drawers! :scared:
hey, I coulda hit that one-if I still had my bow and bowels intact.
What kinda cover scent was he using? gotta get some
Note to self: Do not eat a can of sardines while bear hunting from tree stand.
I would like to "ditto" all of your comments... But that was crazy to say the least...
That is awesome!!
Loved it, thanks for sharing
Ooohhhh boy I would be changing my underwear ! I just know that's gonna happen to me in Manitoba in the spring!!
:clapper: :clapper: :clapper:
That is one cool headed guy. It scared the crap out of me from where I'm sittin! :scared:
That looked to have a pucker factor of about 10!!! That was pretty cool,Thanks for sharing!!!
what an awesome experience!
No way I could have endured that and I have done some bear hunting with a bow. You can't be that cool with a bear in my way of hunting. But on the other hand the bear was up the tree before he realized and was caught in the moment before he could even do different. I guess my bow would have become a club.
I could pick out a specific hair at that distance
Oh man! That's intense.
Ball pin hammer comes to mind.... Wow!
Wow what a neat experience.
And that right there is the reason I carry my 12 gauge with slugs up into my tree stand when I go bear hunting. :help:
WOW! That was just tooooo close for comfort. Man that had to be some kind of rush.
Tony
there is another thread on here how close have you come to a wild animal/ this guy here takes the cake
Come on guys! Don't you know Yogi when you see him?
You can add my name to the group that would have had to change outta those pants!
WOW!
All I could say after that would be "why are my legs so warm and wet?"
With my luck, I'd only make him mad with a ball peen hammer-then what!!!!
WOW!! That was crazy, I'm not sure if I could have stayed that calm. I probably would have soiled myself as he started up the tree, which might have stopped him at half way. :bigsmyl:
Hmmmmmm, very interesting.
Now THAT is Classic!!!
That is dang cool!
Do you think he was using a telephoto lens, and it was a cub, I mean, how else could he hold the camera that still? Jezzz.
Pretty sure if a bear that size started climbing my tree, I'd have to put an arrow in him before he got half way up! Holy crap! That looks fun! Glad the guy was able to post the video.
I've had them come up and smell the stand before and it happened several times but I would never let them get that close ! What an icredible video he had a lot of guts not to jump, or scream, or hit the bear..cool!!..Tim
Does anyone have a new pair of drawer's please!
wow!! yeah, i don't think i would ever get the "new" scent out of my pants.
That was cool. But it was a compound hunt, and we don't allow those here. I know I know, but I gotta stick to the rules to be fair.
I'm going to lock it instead of removing it for now.
Yeah,....again I know, I'm the bad guy. :knothead:
