Gary Logsdon did it again... he came up with a great photo to grace the cover of the Spring 2014 issue of TradArchers' World. This issue has lots of great reading, including stories on achieving better bow and arrow accuracy, profiles on a bowyer and exhibition shooter, as well as an article on flint knapping and, of course, some hunting adventures. It is scheduled to go to print at the end of the month. Check it out.
Also, remember that PDFs of TradArchers' World magazine are being offered free to schools across the land. Let's spread the word on tradarchery to the kids.

Beautiful picture Gary!
That is an excellent photo, and I did not even have to hit F5 to see it...
Looking forward to the issue and thanks for the subscription donations to the Professional Bowhunters Society Gathering coming up at the end of the month.
Awesome pic as always Gary glad yo see ya on there!
Sounds like a great issue Tom. I think your idea for schools is a incredible! well played.
Great Photo Gary :clapper:
Just got back from Pig Gig and Gary was there. Really a class act. When I last saw him this morning we were bemoaning the lack of hogs where we were hunting. He'll have to tell about the bobcat incidents.
cant wait to get my issue...
Another great photo by Gary. I am looking forward to that issue.
Great picture! Can't wait for my copy!
Very nice.
I can smell the dogwoods.
Great picture.
Very nice as always
Love the pic. Well done.
Very well done. Nice photograph. I saw Tom this weekend at the Louisville, Ky event that Compton Bowhunters put on. It was a nice event that Karen and I both enjoyed.
TradArchers World and Compton both suit my taste for promoting traditional archery and bowhunting. We need to help both of them to grow and continue their good work. We (EFA) look forward to working with both.
That is one fine magazine! I submitted an article on my lion hunt, don't know if it made this issue though.
Hey Gene! Yes, your mountain lion story will be in this issue. It is a fun read and the pix were great, too.
Great picture !!! Looking forward to it.

That KY longbeard was taken from a stand of river cane maybe 15 yards from where I shot the photograph. Thick stands of river cane grow up up and down that creek parallel to an open bottom where the toms chase the hens. If you're lucky enough to have a hen walk by you without spooking the tom just might follow, stop in your shooting lane, and turn his fanning butt toward you. A quick draw and "Texas Heart Shot" can get the job done:)
Sounds (and looks) like it just did !
Nice shot (via camera and bow)

Is the magazine out yet? Haven't seen my copy.
I believe Tom indicated end of the month it goes off to the printers in his first post.
Got my copy the other day!

OK, that's even better!!! I'll be stalking the old mailbox.
That picture really gets me going - can't wait till turkey season starts. Dusting off the decoys and driving the wife crazy with a couple new diaphram calls I have been working with.
I enjoy turkey hunting as much as our Colo. big game season.
