Title: Refurbishing a Damon Howatt Hunter
Post by: BAPilot2 on March 13, 2014, 01:56:00 AM
I have a newer style Damon Howatt Hunter recurve (serial number HH 22617) that is in dire need of being refurbished.

The previous owner, who was obviously a "Jack Wagon" of sorts, had painted the limbs of the bow, and then before selling, removed the paint using coarse steel wool which has all but obliterated the Damon Howatt logo along with the serial number, draw weight, and AMO length.  The weight, serial number, and AMO length can still be seen and discerned but the logo is just about non-existent.  Which brings me to my question...

Is there anyone who can, or does, produce a direct replacement logo for the  bow???

I will be refinishing the bow.  I want it to look factory original but I do not know if a correct logo can be obtained.

I look forward to everyone's thoughts and ideas.

Thanks

Give the Bow Hospital a call. I think they have replacement decals for Howatt bows.
