Just fletched up my first set of woodies. I got the shafts from Steve at Surewood ( awesome service)they are spined 75-80 cut to 29" with a 125 gr. tip . They shoot awesome out of my 58" 65#(at my draw)hybrid longbow that my buddy built.
Just thought I would share.

Nicely done..
Did you die them yourself, and is that fletch tape? I have been glueing mine but am thinking about switching to tape, take a lil mess out of the picture.
Nice looking arrows. Congrats!

No I did not die the feathers ,they are from Kustom King archery. Yes that is fletch tape, I love the suff, its much faster and it is also durable. Just the other day while shooting with my buddy I had some arrows go through some plywood(with carbon arrows)and the fletchings stayed intact.
Yeah, I had a few arrows that were done with fletch tape and they held up pretty good. I have been dying my own feathers with Rit dye. Just let them soak in soapy water then put them straight into a dye/water/vinegar mix for a bit. Once they dry I rinse them and let em dry again. Can make any color you want by mixing dyes, there's a color mixing chart on the Rit website.
Nice job. I like that green too!!
