Title: longbow or flatbow

I have ordered longbow from Wright archery.
It is a longbow called Stalker, but it is a laminated bow. my question is why it is not called a flatbow? I am new to traditional.

If you put flat bow and long bow into a search engine such as google you will get detailed descriptions explaining the difference.

Longbow will have a thick and narrow limb,flat bow will have a wide and thin limb.
