We are excited to now offer Brownell Rhino strings!
I have been testing this material for several months now, experimenting with different strand counts. I am very pleased with what I have experienced so far. Our standard Rhino string will consist of 12 strands, with padded loops.
This material is VERY quiet, stable-with little creep, and as fast as any I have tested. Feedback from early customers has been very, very positive!!
I just listed all the colors I have in stock over on the Sponsor's Classifieds.
I look forward working with you on your next string!

I make my own strings but want to say I love your site. I love that you filled this much needed niche for us lefties. Your selection is huge, your knives are awesome and everyone loves doing business with you. Top shelf company in every way.

A.S., I just got a couple of spools of Rhino to try out. I've been making 12 strand strings (pad the loops to 18) with crown serving and that seems to work pretty well with my classic nocks. Just wondering what you're using for serving material. I'm thinking I might have to go a little thinner for GT nocks.

Allen made me a couple of his Rhino strings. I can't say enough good about them! Great strings and as always great quality, service and turn around time!
-
Hatrick, I'm using .024 Halo on my 12 strand Rhino strings. Nock fit is perfect.
We still have plenty of Ultra Cam, XS2, as well as B55 in stock also!

This rhino stuff is the real deal!!!!! Best stuff I've ever used. Your strings look great!!!

Allen,
The Ultra Cam String I recently got from you was great - would you say the Rhino is superior to Ultra Cam?

That is a tough call. Ultra Cam is a fantastic material, especially for skinny strings. Since Brownell discontinued it a while back I have had to search out a replacement. I was able to stock up on quite a bit of UC before it was all sold.
Rhino doesn't do quite as well with a low strand count. I found that 12 strands works best. I have been testing every possible combination for several months so I would have a good feel for what I am selling.
I can tell you that on my bow, a 12 strand Rhino string was a couple FPS quicker than an 8 strand Ultra Cam (serving length and silencers were identical on both strings).

I using XS2 and i'm ok . I make 10 strands string for 60 pound bow , everything is fine . I will drop to 8 strand , plus 8 strand in loop .

I have had several guys PM me about strand counts. I try to offer what I think is the best combination of speed/durability, and quietness for a hunting string. I am always open to building different sizes upon request. Always feel free to contact me with questions.
Thanks to everyone!

If you have a non FF bow don't overlook Allens B-55 strings. They are just as good his FF strings.
