Forgive me for going a bit stir crazy with this never ending winter (-52 last night here) but just thought I'd share with everyone why my feats of strength in the woods out do that of other traditional hunters.
As we all know there are times in the woods when brute strength is a very handy tool, but occasionally someone has that "one upper" story to tell. We've all seen the pic of Mike Mitten carrying out 2 mature deer on his back. (can someone please post that pic?)
What feat can out do Mike's of carrying those 2 deer?
Let me tell you!!!

Carrying Mike out of the woods tops it!

Now that is a first class guide service. :biglaugh: And in flip flops no less!!! You didn't carry me in/out of the woods Ryan. :dunno:
Glenn...that's cause you killed your bear so fast I didn't get a chance!!
Love it! -52 sounds like no fun!!
You better hold on to my quiver for a couple days next time!
Your feat of strength was much more impressive, since you did it with an .89cent pair of flip flops on.
Wow, didn't even have to quarter him out.
Ha ha that's a great picture!
Too funny. Now carry both Wensels out of the woods like those bucks you mentioned and Ill send you a trophy.
Classic your a man of my own heart ry...GREAT PIC and guy there!
Good lord look at the size of Mike's arm!!
Hope the boys are ok !
:clapper: :biglaugh:
:notworthy: :notworthy:
Ha ha. I like it.
Lol now that's funny but good to know you can
Yep Mikes a pretty big guy. But if you get the Wensel Bros up and out now then you got braggin rights. LOL
Mike
Classic firemans carry!
Mikes arms are bigger than my legs. if you could weather the old brute out the first round my money would be on you....i think if he got his hands on you though youd be bear bait!!
A real man would carry mike out, while mike is carrying 2 deer out. :D
:clapper: :clapper: :clapper:
Bisch
Did you make him take his pack off first or did he volunteer? :bigsmyl:
Ha. Thanks for the laugh.
that's funny :bigsmyl:
When I saw those flip flops I experienced a bit of a pucker; if you know what I mean. Anybody that can do that is no tenderfoot!
........That's some serious all inclusive , to and fro stand transportation work eh !!
.....Great picture , and sure to motivate some smiles ;)
:biglaugh:
Well, I suppose that's quieter than two people walking. Nice job!
Great replys guys!
I too love the pic where it shows that Mikes arm is bigger around then my head...and I got a big head!
As far as that pack Mike has....it outweighs the 2 deer by a solid 100 pounds. I wouldn't attempt that!!
And the flip flops....$1.12 actually after tax! I'm a little insulted...
BTW...-52 here is -62 in Fahrenheit.
You just solved my dilemma of how not to get my boots dirty at Bear Camp this Spring. Thank you, now I can worry about the not so important stuff.
Ha great pic!! Looks like y'all have some fun!!
Oh man!,, that's hysterical I love the look on you're face in that second pic! So determined. Awesome
:biglaugh:
I remember that moment, fireman are strong :scared:
So when I come up Bear hunting this is how I get taken to my bait site right?
The flip flops are the clincher............
I have always been jealous of the special treatment Mike gets in camp from all the staff...but I am calling Photoshop there Ry.
FAKE!
:biglaugh:

Ha, pretty good Ryan!
You da man! Not only are you carrying Mike out, you're carrying Mike out while wearing flip-flop sandals! :biglaugh:
Well done. :biglaugh:
He'd pack easier if you gutted him first... ;)
Haha, I like it Ron!
That makes my back hurt!
That is toooo funny!!!
Now you will need his brother Mark the chiropractor !!
Ryan carries all his hunters to and from the stand. Thats what I call great service !!
It's obviously mid-winter @ TradGang.com... Thanks for the comic relief. Really grey here today.
Spring must have come early in Manitoba....here in northern Illinois we must still have about a foot of snow on the ground!
Mike, next time you come to Big Foot Archers, don't expect me to carry you like that.
Ry, Ry, Ry...you gotta start running some baits and wake up from this horrible nightmare. Wake up...it's just a dream! You're really not toting Mike through the woods. You've just got an extra sweater on.
It never ceases to amaze me when I see I man wearing flip-flops. Couldn't do it, that little thing between my toes...ain't right.
That's a good look.
Question though...is he carrying Mike out of the bush or into the bush? Oooh geez, never mind...
While it occurs to me that a better question is "how many days (plus or minus 2) in bear camp before the guides start doing this?"
Future planning is all...as it occurs to me that "A full service guide" may not be what I thought it was :-)
Nice to see that everyone here is as messed up as me!
I would have at least gutted him first !

Here's the little guy with his 2 little deer!
Yo Bro. I think that equates out to mean you could carry out 4 of those IL dink bucks.
62 Below! doesn't your computer and the whole internet thing just freeze up at that temp
Ry, I don't recall any of this kind of service during my week at Stickflingers. Seems I do recall the flip flops. Only certain men can pull that look off. Honestly I'm worried you might pull a muscle. Maybe you should get a rickshaw that way you could handle two maybe three hunters at a time.
Ryan runs a full service opperation. and its always a lot of fun. However, I am not nearly as intense as Ryan is. Ha! Ha! Just compare our faces. Ha! I have a damaged phrenic nerve which results in a right side diaphragm parallysis. So, Ryan was just helping me conserve by breath. Mike
I work out to loose weight in case someone needs to carry me out of the bush. Ha!!

That's hilarious!
It looks like if Mike ever wants to return the favor he could just put Ryan IN his pack.
That pic is just sick. Either of those bucks dressed weigh more than I do guaranteed. But then again I bet I can fit into tighter spaces.... ha!
That's what you call a horseman my friends and a man that GETS IT DONE!!
