I went to fort Stewart yesterday hunting. Got on pigs 4 times and got to within 15 yards all four times and could not get a shot. It was thick and I got winded all four times. Did get a pic For my buddy CJ " Killingstuff" on the way out. We hunted together a few weeks ago and he was wanting to see one.RC

That's a big 'ole lizard, RC!
Keep after those pigs!

That's nuts. You two obviously aren't the only hunters down there. Not sure I could hunt comfortably between the gators, snakes and spiders.

I have the worse luck when it comes to finding gators and snakes, thanks for rubbing it in Robert. Never seen a live wild gator yet, just a few big swirls and water flying as they headed to someplace else from under my feet. Gets your heart pumping. I AM going to sneak up on one next week for sure so I get my picture taken with him so have your camera ready. See you Monday.
CJ
I don't think RC goes into the woods without having his camera ready!

Geez, Robert. If that pic is for CJ, does that mean you don't want to see him hunting your honey-holes, lol. Great job getting up on them 4 for 4.
Got get em RC put some bacon on the ground!
Good luck with the pigs/gator pics CJ!
Wow! That's a big one. I don't think I would want to get too close. :scared:
RC might have his honey holes Pat but I'm making him hunt different area's next week (well maybe one or to quick walk throughs if we're just driving by a honey hole ;) ). Besides the wildlife down there, you find the most interesting stuff in those woods and swamps with all the history of the area.
What no picture of his teeth? :biglaugh:
They are really making those foam 3D targets lifelike now days..... :saywhat:
RC
Was that pic taken on the base? If so let me know what area. We may come down in the next week or so and I wan to make sire to stay out of that zone.
Gators can be anywhere Tony. Robert's found them up in the woods away from the water before so keep your eyes open. Me, I'm not that lucky....yet.
I was hunting there with Jeff Holchin a couple years ago and he stepped over a log in the woods and spooked one from under his feet. I was a couple steps behind him. The explosion on dry land definitely woke both of us up!
I think I won't complain so much with our -15 temps and snow! Not sure I'd want to be hunting in the same areas as one of those guys! :goldtooth:
