My go to bow for sure.  For me, it' the perfect marriage of fit, performance, smoothness and quietness.

In fact I owned more than a dozen bows the first two years I picked up a trad bow.  Now with the exception of a Bighorn that I never shoot anymore but keep for sentimental reasons, I sold ALL OF THEM.

These go nicely with them too

Thanks longbow.  Grip's looking a little worn these days.  It won't be long and I'll be getting another

I should admit up front that I am a shameless Dan Toelke fan and with that said, I shoot a couple of them and the Super D is a great Hill Style bow. It is smooth-drawing, very stable and forgiving, has basically no hand shock, is very quick and is "quieter than quiet". Frankly, it's a Toelke and it's what you would expect. Every model that comes out of his shop has gone through a long intensive R&D period and when Dan puts a bow on the market there are no "bugs" to work out.

How narrow are the limbs of the super D as compared to his Whip?  I loved the whip i had and have come to prefer a narrower/deeper cored bow.

Here is the start and stop of the limbs !        :biglaugh:

I'd say a little thinner than the whip which I also believe is where it gets it's dead quiet and pep from
