2 white to red, 1 red to white. Just cut them, placed the pieces in the fletching jig, glued as before, and let sit. Had to trim a lil because feathers were already shield cut. I just looked at a thread on here where they spliced them and it was like a thousand step process. Really turned me off on even trying.
I always thought the way you did it was the way to do it. Glad to see it works that way I may give it a try.
