Just thought I'd share a pretty cool video. Clay Newcomb killed a big doe last night with his TGhost Smoke and got it on video. Our season here in AR is open through the end of February. What's really cool about it is how he got all the kids involved in the blood trail and dragging the deer out.
Pass through with a 51#@28" Smoke hybrid shooting a full length 55/75 GT AND Slick Trick broad head about 500 grains.
Hopefully the link works for the video, check it out.
Great job Clay!

Great video. Congratulations on the deer and, more importantly, your terrific entourage!
Kent that video is not making the wait for my smoke any easier.
I can only see the first 11 seconds but I can tell it is going to be good. Can't wait for my timberghost. I going to have to find better Internet. JW

Great video.. Clay is good at presenting the outdoors in print or film. Kent I can't wait to get my hands on my Timberghost Smoke. If you are looking for a sweet shooting longbow give the Smoke a look. They are for real...
awesome
Great stuff....you sure have one heck of a dragging team! :clapper:
:clapper: :clapper:
This was a great hunt that was close to home. Bowhunting adventure usually isn't too far away. The Timberghost bow shot great and did the job on this doe.
That is very cool
Great video! Great family! Thanks for sharing it with us.
Clay is a great shot and his kids are a joy to be around, he has done a good job with them as well as his shooting!
Mike
X2 on what Mike said. Clay does a great job getting his kids involved in the outdoors. He's fairly new to trad bows but is a great shot and an even better hunter. When I first talked to him about advertising in his magazine I offered to let him hunt with one of my TD longbows bows and he promptly went out and killed a deer with it a few weeks later. Like most of us since he picked up the stickbow he's having a hard time putting it down.
Welcome to the gang Clay!
Well Done Clay
That was fantastic - would much rather watch somehting like this then those corporate sponsored videos. The smile on that one little boy's face is priceless
I'm proud of you and happy for those kiddos. That is the way it's supposed to be. Happy times.
:campfire:
Mike and AR Ridgerunner, thanks to both of you for your help in getting me going stronger in traditional archery. It takes some guts to carry a stick bow into the tree and you guys encouraged me in this! It has brought a new challenge to my hunting. I plan on carrying my trad bow to Alberta this spring. Also, bowyer David Albright of Sims, Arkansas, has influenced me tremendously. He gave me first longbow 12 years ago.
very cool
family fun
loved it
Makes me long for fall
