This recently arrived. A 64" Toelke Whip 58@30.
Macassar Ebony riser with Myrtle veneers under clear glass. What really gets me is how narrow these limbs are and how oh-so quiet the shot is. His design really steps away from the cookie cutter Bingham project designs. This is a working masterpiece.

Good looking bow. Macasser Ebony and myrtle are starting to be my favorite woods.
Beautiful bow! Love the Ebony riser.
Looks awesome!
I've seen "Apache" on a few of Dan's bows but never asked...what does it mean? Three under tiller?
Yea , very nice bows !
:clapper: :clapper: :clapper:
That is a work of art! Congratulations!
Beautiful, absolutely beautiful.
Apache is 3under tiller indeed. Whips are one of the best there is, zero question.
Nice looking bow.
Why did look at this post beautiful . How does it compare to your ss?
Seriously beautiful bow!
Wonder if Dan would build a super d. With a whip riser? Um.
Compared to the SS? Well, The SS is 55@30 and this is 58@30. I went off of Dans recommendation of a 3# increase on the Whip to match the speed of the SS. They are pretty close if not identical to the eye with arrow speed. They both "aim" the same. The grip on the Whip is a tad lower SEE PICS.
The physical weight of the Whip is less than the SS and handles lighter in the hand because of so. Putting a GN quiver on it is no big deal. I like shooting the SS sans quiver. The pull on the Whip is a bit more direct i.e. it probably gains more # per inch than the SS does. Ive measured the SS and it gains 2.5# per inch of draw past 28" to at least 31" . I love both bows and am really enjoying this Whip.
SS on left, Whip Right (http://i1256.photobucket.com/albums/ii498/tzolkosky/IMG_20140218_211757_857_zpsa54f91bc.jpg)
Whip Left, SS Right (http://i1256.photobucket.com/albums/ii498/tzolkosky/IMG_20140218_211935_842_zps84913efa.jpg)
That is wild!
Dan really knows his stuff. Both bows are gorgeous.
