I just picked up a lone wolf site and climb it is so quite and fast. problem is it is also soo so uncomfortable my butt and lower back get so sore.
What do you guys do to make it better or even tolerable? I have a history of lower back prob so I dont mean to be a cry baby any help is good! thanks to all and have a great season.
Mike i think it's just the nature of the beast with this stand. i love my Lone Wolf and like you the comfort level on a long sit is the only negative on this otherwise awesome tree stand.
the only thing i did to my climber is to replace the carrying straps with some rubber padded gun sling straps that i found at Wal-Mart on clearance after the season. they are a lot more comfortable on those long hikes.
that is why (along with $$$) that I use a Summit... But seriously, there are plenty of aftermarket pads made by other stand manufacturers (Gorila comes to mind). For your back, have you changed the height you set the top and bottom apart? Bring your feet up a little more to "unload" your back.
Just some thoughts.
