Great looking bows and kills keep em coming!
Ryan that birdseye cocobolo in your riser is Amazing!
Stickflinger what kind of wood did you use for your riser. All great looking bows.
Mike Vines has to have the best TT as he shot his deer in the future....WOW...how'd you get a 2014 tag? HA!
The wood is birdseye Cocobolo in my bow!
My beard got in the way of typing you wouldn't understand the difficulties a bearded man has to live with. :biglaugh: I'll make that correction.
Good attention to detail Ryan.
And, as a matter of fact, I DO have the "Best Tall Tines". :bigsmyl:
Mine doesn't have near the wood y'all's have, but it gets the job done! A doe I took on New Year's Day evening.
60" 50@28 bacote limbs, gray action wood riser with bacote stripe. I've had it for a few years. Great bow!

I still kick myself once every week or two for handing you that bow Kevin. I should have never let it out of my hands until I gave Brian the cash for it...
I am going to pick up an all Bocote TT Stickflinger next week though
Wow! What a collection of kills and awesome bows! I am wanting a TT so bad but I hear Brian's holding off on new orders at this time. I sure hope to have one in the next couple years. They are perty.

Nice deer Ryan!! No wonder I can't find any nice deer..
Good bucks Ryan. Modified title!!!
Oh yea, enjoying this!
Loving this thread. Just joined the TT family. Ryan loving the "Movember" pic.
Is that a Manitoba version of Rico Suave' in those last two pictures? He looks vaguely like a bear guide I know from Manitoba.
D.P.
That's Magnum P.I.
Maybe a walrus....less than 2 dozen hairs is "walrus" category!
I have never seen a Walrus with a "Soul Patch".
Ryan, never accept the criticism of a man who would have the audacity to shave his face...Oh wait, you shaved it off. Redeem yourself and let it grow back.
Beautiful Bucks by the way. Are they all from Manitoba too?
Good thread gents!
Ok I will play some...

FYI: My Tall Tines is 58-62 pounds @ 31",depending on the set of limbs I'm using. I have a set of Myrtle limbs and a set of Eastern cedar. The riser is Brazilian Rosewood.
Great pics guys!
Cool stuff.
Awesome pics as always Gary!
Gary, your pictures are a shining example of what all of our photos should look like. Respect for the animal is very evident in your pictures.
Gary is a master with both bow and camera in his hands!
So much better and professional than blood and guts in the pics. I don't need to see a heart with the broadhead hole in it.
Gary,
That first picture with the nice 8 point is how game pictures should be done!
If you look close you can see the blood in the autumn leaves where he died, your pose and the green in the tree is just a bonus.
Had some real bad luck early in the fall of '13 when I got the upper lime of my TT recurve caught in the belt of my climber on the descent. Caused quite a bit of damage but with some super glue and sand paper I was able to keep it fully operational.
That unlucky event came right before the luckiest week of my hunting career! Stories are on TG for all of these:

Thanks for the positive comments everyone.
Will, the 9 point beside the trunk of the big pine is exactly as I found him. The touch of fall color were a bonus gift from the Creator. Sometimes you just get lucky. All I did was recognize the possibilities of recapturing the moment as it happened.
Time to bring this thread back up top...

Ryan - you and Darrin Shipp have to be two of the trophy killinest stick bow shooters in the Province. Love your posts and picks - My dream hunt is to sit in your bear blind one night!!
Bob Urban
Wow, maybe I should get a Tall Tines bow!
While out practicing, I kept seeing this woodchuck keep sticking it's head out of it's hole as I would shoot and retreve my arrow. Well I made sure to keep getting closer and closer each time I would return to shoot again, and at 4 feet, the ground hog made the mistake of peaking out one to many times, and the Eclipse head and Tall Tines did it's job. This one will not be digging under the porch anymore.
