Hey everyone. You guys have been such a great help with everything I ask even if it is a dumb newbie question lol. I need to find my 4yr old a bow at a reasonable price. She goes in the basement everynight and pretends with her cheap plastic one. Its time for her to shoot something a little more real. She told me last night daddy I want a bow like yours and puppas so I can shoot a big buck to lol even though I dont shoot big bucks dunno where that came from but if anyone could point me in the right direction Id be very thankful and Id have a very happy little girl. Heres a pic of me and her and my son dec 2013 with my first trad kill. Get ahold of Dave and Tracey at St. Joe River bows. Very well made inexpensive bows for the kids. Todd
Both my kids have St Joe River bows. Got them 48" 20#@24" longbows. Good for 3/4-10 or so.
I will check them out
Check out a Sarrles Little Sprout! They are cheap and look just like daddy's bow!

My kids (5) all received Maddog for their first bows... They can't be beat for the money and they're built tough. Give Mike a call and he'll take care of you. Mike offers a 48" longbow and a 36" pup recurve.
I just gave my daughter a Maddog pup for her 5th birthday. She loves it! I have heard great things about the other bows mentioned and I think it's St Joe that has a trade up when they out grow their bow. Mike made my daughter a great pink bow and I wouldn't ever want to trade it in.
My oldest had a Maddog for his first bow. I passed it on to another kid when he outgrew it.
My 4 year old son got a Maddog for Christmas and he loves it. Mike was excellent to deal with and highly recommended.
All good suggestions. Don't forget z giveaways on the main forum. Only 13 more days until the next youth bow giveaway drawing.
I have also purchased pups from mike mcredey and black rhinos. Both very good, inexpensive and great quality.
Another vote for Mike at Maddog. I have purchased two of Mike's bows for my daughter. Mike makes a great bow that is priced way below what he could be charging for them and is a great guy to deal with!
Sorry the youth giveaway was yesterday
My four year old also shoots a Maddog pup. Mike does a nice job with that bow, and for what it is, it zips an arrow pretty good.

I vouch for Mike at Mad dog! great bows. I have also heard good things about st. Joe river
St. Joe River Bow!
Black Rhino is another TG sponsor with great youth bows. Youth bows are basically their entire business and they have a trade in policy to help as the kids grow. www.bows.net (http://www.bows.net)
