Title: Strung bow case
Post by: Steel on February 14, 2014, 09:51:00 AM
Does anyone make a strung recurve case in a shorter length/size designed for bows 56/58" and less recurves? Yes I know longer cases will work but just am looking for something more of a custom fit for a 54/56" recurves I use.

Rocky Mountain Specialty Gear(sponsor) sells a real nice bow case, think they are called Shooting Star. They are made by a gal locally here in Denver and if they don't have one the size you are looking for, they can have one made the size you want. Not the cheapest cases on the market, but one of the nicest I've seen and they are mounted bow quiver compatible. It has a pocket big enough to put a standard sized arrow caddy in it too. Check them out. I don't think it costs much extra if any to have a special size one made, but don't quote me on that:)

Kathy Kelly has been making very nice ones for years.  I'm sure she would be happy to cut one to fit for you.  I'm sure TG Sponsor SafariTuff would make one too and Rod's stuff is excellent.

BlackWidow makes a couple different strung cases that are very durable and at a reasonable price.
