Hey guys,
Just curious as to what others are shooting there Super K's at.  I'm currently shooting mine at 7.25" brace height, I find the bow get twangy if I go any lower.  I'm new at this so just looking to see what everyone elses sweet spot is.  I'm a short draw length at 26".  Thanks Joe

I like mine higher at 8 inches.  Play around with it and see what works best for you.

I have an old Kodiak Hunter, was playing around with it today it didn't stop twanging until I got close to 9"---------8 7/8 to be exact.

Mine shoots best at 7 1/2

				Thanks Guys
After seeing that everyone else is shooting higher brace heights than my self, I went out an experimented.  I found that i only loose 1 foot per second by going up to 7 5/8" so I'll take the extra brace  height for  a little bit more forgiveness.  Thanks for the info.  Joe    ;)

I'm not sure this is right but it seems to me the older Kodiaks liked 7 - 7 1/2 and the 70s Kodiaks like 8 - 9.

The Super Kodiaks that I have shot performed great at a brace height between 7.5" and 8".

I have a '74 red stripe and am using a 15 strand B-50 flemish twist. My "sweet spot" is at 8 3/8" with 28 3/8" 1916's with 125 grain tips and 4" parabolic 4 fletch.
My point.....get in the ball park...break in your new string.... and tune it every day. It is all relative.
For a Super K, I'd recommend starting at 7 3/4" and go from there. "Play every day"
