Tracy,
$75.00 is a very reasonable price for that bow But not sure if someone had inserts added for that quiver or they just screwed it into the riser?
Still even that can be filled or left alone and makes a good shooter bow...
I say if limbs are good,no cracks, seperations or bad twists then jump on it...
-
75 bucks? If it's in shootable condition, even scratched up jump on it! That's a lot of bow for next to no money.
-
I agree, if the weight is reasonable you should buy that.
-
Its 52@28. perfect weight and in great shape. I better grab it. Thanks guys
-
That's a great find. My Diablo cost me a lot more than that.
-
Buy it, and I'll give $100 for it. ;)
-
Sorry guys my son is the one who stumbled on it and says its a balboa not a diablo. Does that change things?
-
Fred,
:biglaugh: I'm a Witness to that Fred
-
Now is this a very early 60's guys cause it looks as if the limbs might be that rusty orange 3M glass? It also looks like all Shedeau riser to me...$75.00 WOW Dirt cheap and worth every penny Tracy. Nice of the fella to offer it so low..Let me know the bows length Tracy cause if it's 58" I'll sent ya a string for it...Just give me your addy..
-
Sorry I doubled posted...
-
Tracy, I did a search and found that the Balboa was only made in 1967 & 1968. Even though it's not a Diablo, it's still a good find.
-
Fred,
Funny you and I both found that same search...Larry Hatfield correct?
-
Yep. Great minds think alike!
-
Thanks again guys I think I better get. Sorry for being a doofus.
-
Thanks Keefer. As always you are a great guy. I have been making my own strings for a while now and will build a dacron string for it. Thanks

I had a Balboa also, bought it at a gun show for $12. Gave it to my father-in-law he still shoots it often. It's a 58" 60lber.
