Title: Blackwidow bow string question
Post by: rluttrell on February 09, 2014, 12:26:00 PM
Hi guys, I just got my Blackwidow bow...I want to make some Flemish strings.
I would like to use Fast Flight Plus. Can I use Fast Flight Plus and how many strands???
my bow is 54 pounds and my draw length.

If new bow and concerned about warranty, I think contacting the folks at BW could best answer your question.

Otherwise, I think appropriately padded loops would perform just fine since BW bows are plenty durable.

Mine came with Fast flight strings.  Yes check with them but I think you can use "whatever" on them.

I shoot 8-10 strand d10s on mine just pad the loops and you will be fine.

X 2. They come with a d97 string  I shoot a padded loop skinny string. It's as quiet as my longbow

Thanks guys, I called Blackwidow today and they said I am good and if I decided to use less than 15 strands to pad the loops.

Yes, the 8-strand skinny string gives a bit more speed, and padded loops quiet the bow too.
