Is anyone out there the owner of a Yellowstone Longbow? You NEVER see these bows on The Classifieds. Very curious about their performance, workmanship, etc etc. Thanks
Don't own one now, but I have. Good modest r/d design and excellent workmanship. Mine were elm cored and I like bamboo a little better. That's the only reason I no longer have them.
I do not own one but have a couple of good friends that do. Rich makes a great bow and is a good guy for sure.
His workmanship is on par with the greatest in the buisness and bow performance is of the highest quality. He is regular contributer to the Bowhunters of Wyoming and I have had the oppertunity though that to shoot a lot of his bows. All were very nice.
Owned one in 2012 great finish quiet stable shooter mine was 66" shot great fine bow and it had some good mass weight too
Thanks Folks for your opinions! Anyone else?

Is the Widow for sale already?
I miss my Yellowstone hunter.....but I am in the works with Rich to get a new one. I met him when I was Running an archery shop in Montana, and just loved his bows. One of the nicest people you will ever talk to.

I have looked at them several times......you rarely see one used for sale......that should tell you something!!
I've owned one and agree w/ the comments above, on par w/ the best out there, very reasonably priced.
I've owned both his longbow and halfbreed and both are excellent bows. My buddy has his recurve and the Hunter longbow and both are tremendous bows. That Hunter longbow is pretty damn sweet and if your a 3pc longbow guy I absolutely love my halfbreed!!!
I've had 2 of his longbows and they were top notch bows. Excellent workmanship and one of the best finishes I've ever seen on a bow.
Only reason I don't still have them is the weight. Had to drop a few pounds.
I do. RICK knows longbows!!! Just as everyone else has commented, top shelf all the way, tremendous value!

I am partial to the Renegade flatbow: it hits like a ton of brick.
Rich told me he shot through a buffalo with a 50# Renegade.
As has been said, his finish is second to none. Superb!
God bless, José
