Just got back from the Montana Traditional Bowhunters annual meeting and banquet. Had a good time seen some old friends, there were some good seminars Dick Robertson talked about back country winter camping and skiing. Don Thomas gave a good seminar on photography very interesting tips, he also gave a great slide show presentation on Bears, TBM president Rex Rogers gave a good seminar on cold weather trestand hunting and how to stay warm. I have been treestanding cold weather for many years and I learned a lot from Rex. It was good to talk to Bob Savage and Scott Koelzer, all around good time.
Wish I could have made it this year. Sounds like a good time as always.
Wow. Sounds like fun. Wish Wyoming had something like that. I should join.
Yep it was a good time and good to visit with friends we don't get to see very often. MT is a big state...
Sorry I missed this year, but had to go to another fine banquet for the Oklahoma Selfbow Society.
TBM banquet is my favorite, though. Always good to see our friends....
The seminars were good, the location was good (as always), best of all was seeing old friends and meeting a few new ones. Like Doug said, Montana is a large state and a lot of us only see each other at this event.
Doug, Mark,
Thanks for the overlay material, it's going to work fine, even if Tim pilfered a piece for his selfbow. ;)
I'd been looking forward to the banquet for months. But as luck would have it my dad broke his leg, which required surgery, and I had to cancel. Sounds like I missed a good time.
Perhaps next year...
Just got home and the car unloaded, it was great to be there and see a lot of good friends! Looking forward to the summer shoot!
