Just finished up a custom order with a Purpleheart riser and was amazed with the color! :eek:

Doesn't Purpleheart darken with age like osage? I wonder if there is a sealer that would prevent that.

Yes it does darken with age.
I was JUST thinking the same thing...To have a sealer with some UV protection that would allow the wood to keep its color would be great. :thumbsup:

Looks like yew cores, that color and purpleheart are a perfect complement. they really frame and set the riser off. Great work.
