The Ohio season ends on Sunday and
Tonight I had a doe duck an arrow at around 15 yards, then slowly walk away out into the corn field.
I'm feeling the same pain sir, its a long wait til October. But turkey season is right around the corner
Time to turn the page I guess ooh well guys I too can hear the thunder chickens talking!!
I too hear those chickens talking, but I still have one more chance after work tomorrow.
It ends for me tomorrow. One last all day sit in the Heater Body Suit.
Any small game hunting left in your states? Rabbit and squirrel stay in here to early February.
whine whine whine... our season ended 4 months ago.
So I've been sucking my thumb since Sept.
Bowfishing season right around the corner!!!!
I hear ya - every year on the last night of the season I sit in my stand and reflect about what a great time this is and start thinking about what I will do to make next season better.
This year I was fortunate enough to take a nice buck on the last night - never happened like that before and likely never again but it was a fine ending.
Up side is there are never a shortage of things I can do bow hunting related. And I have a bear hunt in May so that breaks the monotony.
Yep I'm thinking about it to. I'm going out tonight, and it will probably be my last time for deer this year. Our late season ends on the second here.
I feel the loss from deer season being over but we will start pounding the hogs now for a couple of months and then the turkey and bowfishing will keep us going for a good while. I really only go about two weeks without hunting each year and that is the last two weeks in May. Then....BEAR CAMP! OH how I love chasing those big bears.
Hunting season is never over for hunters.
Hey, my wife believes me and that is all that maters.
Glad we have all kinds of vermin out here. I could not take it not hunting all year.
Our deer season just closed too, but we still have squirrels bunnys, pheasants in PA and 3d's. ,!! Homer made a thrower for 2 liter bottles. Our bows don't get a rest.
Marylands season ended yesterday. But for the past 3 Saturdays we have been hammering the geese. It's sad that it's already over. But it was a tough year with no acorns in the woods here
Darn right bowhunting is never over! I get the most fun out of scouting, mapping, planning, etc.
