Just a little shout out for Pierre. I received my new string today. It is a 10 strand skinny for my Abbott longbow. This string is absolutely perfect in every way. Length is perfect as is the serving. The colors are a perfect match for the cocobolo and bacote. If you haven't tried one, I highly recommend them.

I bought one for my lost creek and i can definately can tell a differance in the bows performace
I am having an issue with a string slap noise from my new strings. Bow is 50@28 64" recurve.
650gr arrows.
I have went back to my original 14 strand string.

I shoot them on all my bows too. Every bow got quieter and a little faster with a SBD 10 strand string.
I've shot SBD strings for a couple years now. Speed is not the reason The reduction in noise is the big plus for me.
