Has anyone found nocks to replace the originals
that come with gold tip 5575, another company
like Easton etc?
Thanks
Tom H
I believe easton s nock, bohning signature nock...
Also have seen unibushing conversion to...something.
Why are you changing?
I bought some of the Bohning Signature nocks recently and used them in my Gold Tip Trads. They fit and work great.
I switch all mine to the Bohning Signature
583.

They crack and break at the shoulder, sometimes
when you draw back leading to dry firing. The
arrows are great the nocks are not.
Thanks for the reply. Interesting, I've never had an issue.
I never did have the nock breakage that others seem to have with their Gold Tip nocks. I've had some break while stumpin', and just a few break in a bag target banging against other arrows, but that is expected though. I did send all mine in a couple of years ago when Gold Tip offered to exchange them. Are others still having problems with their GT nocks?
we sell dozens of Gold Tips and we replace every nock with Bohning Signature nocks. A certain percentage of the Gold Tip to Signature conversions will be a little loose. You can use Saran wrap between the nocks and the shafts to obtain uniform tension that will be removable.
riddleofsteel.....still having breakage problems or you just don't "feel good" about selling shafts with GT nocks after their recall.
I'm interested because almost all my GT arrows have the GT nocks
I have been shooting Gold Tip arrows with GT nocks for as long as I can remember and never had any problems with the GT nocks!
I have had a couple nocks break over the years, but all of them had been very well used and I could not attribute the failure to a bad nock.

I use the Easton Super Uni-nock on my 5575's, but my wife uses the GT nocks on her 1535's.
If you need a place to discard your GT nocks... I'll give you my address!

I never had any problems with my GT nocks and I have used them for years. Still use them.
They had a bad run of nocks a while back. Recent ones have been holding up better. I tried the Bohning Signature nocks and didn't care for them much, seemed like they had sharp edges and were harder to adjust how tight they fit. Accu Nocks fit and there are a couple of brands of micro nocks that fit. I believe QAD was one of the brand for the micro nocks.
Thanks for the info

We tune all our customers arrow/bow combos before they leave the property. I just got tired of arrows falling off the string, nocks breaking and creating what is essentially a dry firing senerio.
I usually throw the old GT nocks in a small ziplock bag and give them to the customer.
I am glad to hear so many are liking their GT nocks but we have had nothing but heartache with them, thus our current policy.
JMHO YMMV
Like several others, I have been using Gold Tip nocks for years and have never had one to break. In fact, I shoot CX Heritage shafts and replace the CX nocks with Gold Tip nocks because I like the fact they fit a little tighter and don't bounce out when the arrow strikes something solid.
Oh, I've had 'em break when I hit something hard, but, overall, I like 'em!
I like the fit of the Easton S nocks on a couple of my smaller diameter serving strings...and I just happen to have a bunch of them laying around...plus the GT Trads I bought came with white nocks...the green S nocks fit perfectly
