Any abrasive wheel will work. A saw tooth blade should be avoided however. Those should be used for cutting a wood shaft. I do use the abrasive wheel for wood too though. You just cut a bit slower so as not to burn through the shaft. I bought my saw directly from Apple archery when they has a sale a couple years back. Always and I repeat ALWAYS use the dust collection whenever cutting carbons.
Thanks, I know it must seem like a newbie question but a little bit of help goes a long way..
Thanks the saw worked great and was a lot simpler than I thought
The carbon blade will cut aluminum just fine, but it loads up. Aluminum is very soft by comparison and sticks to the blade. It will do the job just fine, but it wont cut carbon again as smooth as it did new afterwards.
I'd use the right blade for the job bro... Kirk
