how long did you guys use tradgang before coming a member? I think for me it was about 3-4 years, wished I would have done it a long time before, still got to read and learn lots, but did not realize the interactions I was missing out on.
Thanks tradgang for being there for all, especially members!
-
Only took me a couple of visits once I found it to decide I liked the site and about the only trad site I look at. Great folks and info here..
-
I've been bow hunting since the mid 70's and just recently started shooting traditional, I'm not a computer wiz and I'm having a hard time navigating this site... but its probably me lol
-
As soon as I found out about it in Dec of '09. I had been shooting a recurve since 1990. I wish I had heard of it when it first came out! Hummer, I LOVE Saskatchewan!! been there twice, once on a deer hunt and once for water fowl!!
-
The date on the info line below.
-
this was the first site to pop up one evening when I did a search about carbon shafting selection. Only one since.
-
I read stuff on here for a few years, then joined. Wish I would do that more often.
-
I signed up when I found the site. Don't remember the date.
-
I signed up as soon as i found this site. I hate to admit how many hours a day i am on here. :campfire:
-
Didn't take me long at all
-
not long at all

TradGang is #1 in my book. Best traditional archery site on line. Can't beat the members here. I learn something new every day and I've been here on a regular basis since Jan. 2004. Thanks Terry for a job well done. :notworthy:
-
The first time on the site. :campfire: :campfire:
-
Pretty much the first time I visited...
-
I signed up at the beginning, when most us were fed up with the bickering and backstabbing on the other site. I didn't post the first couple of years, ever. Lost my original number when my computer crashed, taking all of my saved passwords with it. Had to register again when I finally started posting.
This site has allowed me to meet a lot of good people, taught me some of the finer points regarding the technical side of equipment, sharpened my hunting skill, but most importantly helped me make some good friends,

I agree Walt, I've been shooting trad for almost 25 years, but this site connected me with other trad hunters. I met a lot of guys from all over the country that I'd never have met otherwise. I've also learned more in the 5 years that I've been on than in the 20 years before!!
-
As soon as I visited it. Someone e-mailed me that I should come check it out and I did.
-
It only took me a few a visits to sign up and started posting then. Its hard to believe its been over 10 years now!
-
I had just started into traditional archery and was wanting to learn as much as I could, so I was searching the web and found this site first and never made it to another site.
-
I visited this site for a few years
intermittently. This is while I was shooting a compound bow. Also reading Traditional Bowhunter.
The tradional culture is as important to me as the equipment. I knew what direction I was headed long before I actually made the switch.
-
I signed when I second time I visited the site
-
Took me about 2 minutes to join once I found the site.
I was doing a search about some info I needed concerning my first osage selfbow construction. Or, maybe it was a search about a Shrew bow I had just purchased, I can't remember which. Anyway, Tradgang popped up on my Google search and the rest is history.
-
I joined right away. Welcome to the gang!
-
I was working on a construction site in October of 2009 and met Guru. He steered me in the right direction and I signed up that evening. I have probably visited every day since.. I have learned so much and met some great friends
-
I joined right away but haven't posted nearly as much as others.
-
It took me awhile but because I had to be talked into getting a computer.
I bought this gadget and set this site up as my home page and joined.
Mr "T" once said "Mudd found us and set up camp".(About as close as it gets to what really happened)
I've never learned how to "surf the web" but never felt I needed more than 3 things from my computer, those being Tradgang,Crosswalk.com, and my e-mail.
I have a deep admiration for for the way this site runs as the result of it's leadership and it's membership.
God bless,Mudd

A friend referred me to it because he knew how irritated I had become with an existing site.
I joined right away but didn't post much for years.
I admit my first few dozen posts were to get my numbers high enough (100) to be able to buy bows on the classifieds. Then I became more involved in the discussions.
-
Joined right off the bat-or bow as is the case and haven't looked back. Got real tired of the bickering on the other available trad site. Have met some real good people and have enjoyed the many hours spent here.
-
It took me 3 visits. I wasn't back into archery yet full fledged on my first 2. didn't even have a bow, just knew I wanted to get into it. At first I was just day dreaming.
I am happy I did. I have met a lot of great people and had some incredible hunts since joining.
-
Thanks Terry, I had not noticed the date down under.
I remember the bad times that led to you starting this site.
You've kept it just the way you said you would.
-
My first visit I think. Long time ago.
-
First time....
-
I guess I was a lurker for about 3 years when I was still working. I didn't even have a computer at home. When I retired and got a desk top I joined up. Lurked on a couple of other sites as well but thought this was the best one for me.....I think I was right.
-
I think it was posted on the old "Trading Blanket" that it would be ending and a new site starting. I joined right away and that new site was Tradgang and I been here ever since.
I belong to other sites but this one I always considered home.
-
I joined on my first visit too.
-
I don't remember but it's free! So I'm sure I thought "why wait?" This site is much easier to use than some, I love it.
-
On the first visit to the sight. Widow

I joined right away, just do not post a lot,but what I have learned is priceless to me.
-
I think it was a year or two after I joined that I became a contributor. Great site, great folks and I have met many good people on here and had the priviledge to hunt with a few of them too.
