LOL, indeed, pipe it is. But it is the two Centaurs inside that are of interest. Waiting for my wife as one of them is hers.

Peekaboo. Two Centaurs. Both are double carbons (Chimeras with added XTL carbon in the core) One is backed with  Prairie Rattler over the woven tension carbon)

OK, here we go:

I asked Jim for Bacote with lots of movement in the grain - I think he found me just what I asked for:

Aimi told Jim to use his judgement on her accents.  He put the same carbon he uses in the limbs in as the accents and it just goes so well with the dark grain in the black and white ebony. Jim has balanced the look of the riser really well as the accents mimic the grain and the carbon laminate as it runs through:

A hand trace allows Jim to fit the bow to your hand and each bow will be cut just a little different, cutting into the wood and revealing a different pattern to each bow:

Was sunny when I took these - but being in England, it is now dull and raining - so no, I don't have anything better to do than post pictures just now!        ;)

Just a few more.....

Aimi has small hands, but no problem as Jim fits the bow to you. Some off the shelf bow just feel like a piece of 3 x 2. These feel like the real deal. I like a light bow and these are very light. I know some people mount quivers to add weight; but there is no shock to the bow a tall and walking through the woods for six hours at a time, a light bow is a God send.

I was concerned as I have seen snake skin bows shed scales and look a real mess. But Jim removes the scales and seals the lot to give a uniform finish over the bow.

Ya, they are both special, but Aimi's stands out with that black and white ebony, the carbon goes so well with it too. I had mine made from more 'usual' woods. I have a custom made Falco made from Curly Birch with a high gloss finish so I decided to 'man up' and go for darker woods and snake skin this time. Love the grain on the bacote limbs.
They shoot nice too.

Thank you for posting all of those pics.  Those bows are real lookers, and I know that they behave well when in the field. May you and your good lady have many hours of enjoyment shared with these excellent bows! Sounds as though you have found one of the secrets to a happy marriage.

Mine's the best bow I've ever shot.
The grip is just perfect and matched my hand perfectly.
Couldn't have been more pleased :-)
